Biography

Eevin's general interests involve capitalizing on neuroscience studies to improve student learning and community initiatives (i.e., environmental enrichment to promote learning in academia, recovery in mental/physical rehabilitation, and cognitive development).

Research interests center on factors that influence undergraduate student learning and comprehension, such as notetaking behaviors, peer-based teaching (teaching expectancy effects), text comprehension, generative learning, individual differences, and metacognition.

Eevin's teaching interests span the field of cognitive neuroscience with emphases in physiological psychology, comparative cognition (parrots and cetaceans), language, sleep, and neural systems.
