Adjusting to online modes of course delivery

Academic Advising

  •  Your Psychology Academic Advisors ARE AVAILABLE!
  •  Scheduled appointments will be conducted through video conferencing with the Zoom platform. We will be reaching out to you if you have an appointment scheduled with us to move your appointment to a Zoom meeting.  We will still be able to meet face to face through this platform.

Psychology Student Success Center

  • Student Success Coaching will be done over zoom. Students will receive an email link to their virtual conference room when they have booked an appointment.
  • The Student Success Center is designed to provide coaching for students who are looking to improve their understanding of the science of psychology, writing and statistics. 
  • Students who are enrolled in the foundational courses (PSY 101, 230, 290) and upper-division courses are encouraged to come and master new skills with the instruction of our Student Success Coaches.

ASU Counseling Services

While ASU classes are online through the end of the Spring 2020 semester, ASU Counseling Services will offer services remotely. To reach a counselor or schedule an appointment, please call 480-965-6146. As always, we will talk with you, help you identify solutions or support, and connect you with those services at ASU or in the community.

ASU Counseling Services are for any Sun Devil, regardless of your race, gender, sexual orientation, age, student status, religion, ability, size, financial situation, the issue you're dealing with or whether you've had counseling before. Something as simple as talking to someone can help you feel better, improve your grades and manage stress.

First-Year Success Center Coaching: FYS provides peer-to-peer coaching for first-year students, transfer students, out-of-state students, and sophomores. Success coaches are currently offering Zoom coaching sessions for students. Community Action Agencies

Community action agencies can help with things like utility or mortgage assistance, eviction or foreclosure prevention assistance, rental deposits, and emergency shelter.
