Yasaman Parsi, M.Ed., M.C., LPC, is the Implementation Coordinator for The Family Check-Up and Everyday Parenting at the ASU REACH Institute. She is a licensed professional counselor who has worked as an educator and therapist with individuals, families and groups in multiple agency settings such as La Frontera-Empact SPC and MISS Foundation. Yasaman has worked with ethnically, racially and socio-economically diverse populations on a variety of mental health concerns such as grief, bereavement, childhood sexual abuse, domestic violence, couples counseling, and parenting skills education. Yasaman has also worked on other REACH programs in the past such as the New Beginnings Program and Bridges to High School Program. Yasaman earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Women Studies, Master’s degree in Counseling and Master’s degree in Secondary Education, Curriculum and Instruction with a Teaching Certificate from Arizona State University.
