End of Funding/Resignation
If you supervise a staff member or student worker who resigned from their job or have a work assignment that ended, please send us a note so that we can terminate the position in the ASU system. This is important to avoid any overpayments.
If there is a possibility that an employee may need to be let go due to lack of funding, please plan ahead and email the Business Office HR team at least 45 days in advance so we can guide you through the termination process and timeline. We understand funding can change but some positions do require at least 30 days’ notice.
