How children learn at the Child Study Lab

A play-based curriculum

Children learn best when they feel safe, supported and free to explore. At the Child Study Lab, teachers build on children’s interests while helping them develop communication, problem-solving, independence, empathy and self-regulation.

Each day balances child-directed play with teacher-guided learning. Children create, investigate, move, ask questions and practice working with others as they make sense of the world around them.
